TISSOT NICKY HAYDEN Limited edition
T-Race |
If you're a motorbike enthusiast, and especially a fan of
the "Kentucky Kid" Nicky Hayden, then you'll savor the high-tech
performance and design of the T-Race. Winner of the Daytona 200 in
2002, Hayden went on to place 5th in the MotoGP in 2003--enough to
take Rookie of the Year honors. In 2005 he finished 3rd in the
MotoGP and in 2006 he spearheaded the Repsol Honda Championship,
beating Rossi 252 points to 247. After signing with Honda for 2 more
years for the 2007 and 2008 seasons, his racing number changed from
69 to 1, and Tissot commemorates this speed-driven evolution with a
limited edition T-Race of 11,111. The precision Swiss quartz split
second chronograph movement is housed within a case hybrid of
surgical grade stainless steel and carbon carbon fibre, and "bike
frame" screws. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is surrounded
by a bezel and crown protection designed with slanting ventilation
shafts inspired by braking disks. The carbon fiber dial design
combines speedometer-like counters with a magnified crystal over the
date display at 3. Wear the T-Race on your arm with a rubber
tire-track strap with safety clasp. Packaged in a special "helmet"
case printed with Hayden's new racing number, #1.
